At the halfway stage in the season Haslingden led the table from Nelson by 6 points, both with 8 wins from13 games and at the end of July remained in top slot by 5with Lowerhouse in 3rd place 16 points behind the leaders. The title was secured on 2nd September with a 9 wicket win against neighbours Rawtenstall. RobMarcroft lead the way with the bat scoring 505 runs with valuable support from Muneeb Ahmed on 338 and Michael Ingham 235 . Michael seems to have started a new career having topped the wicket taking with 42 wickets from Muneebwith 28 and JoshWalker 22. This was Haslingden's 16th 2nd eleven championship extending their lead back to 2 fromNelsonwho had closed the gap in 2011. Lowerhouse took the runners up trophy for only the 2nd time after seeing off the challenge of 3rd placedNelson by 8 points. Skipper Phil Haggerty made 414 runs with Jack Edgar 255 and Declan Bailey 254 supporting him. Main contributors with the ball were Kieran Tighe 30 Scott Hope 28 Matt Marquis 25& Jack Edgar 23. Enfield regained the 3rd Eleven Championship, their second. Twenty two games were lost during the season due toweather, actually less than in 2011. SamCook was leading run scorer for Enfield with 451 runs with Chris Seddon next on 172 and LewisWright next on 137. Sam Cook was also top wicket taker with 18 followed by Lewis Barker on 17
