This year's winner was a batsman who scored 156 in what was the highest stand of the season, 203 against Rawtenstall on 2nd September, Graham Knowles of Haslingden The Bowling Tankard is presented to the bowler with the best Amateur Bowling performance. This year the winner took 8 for 25 against Enfield on the next to last day of the season four bowled three caught behind and one caught in the field, LloydAspin of Church. The Telegraph also make an award to the wicketkeeper with most victims and with 6 victims, 5 caught (one of whichwasMichael Haslams 500thwicket) and 1 stumped against Nelson on 21st July is TomParton of Ramsbottom. Tom also took the final individual award, the Bill Harrison Trophy for the best performance by an Under 23 player in a match for his 118 not out against Colne on the 11thAugust, the youngest player ever to score a century for Ramsbottom.
