To promote a greater interest in the game. 2. To foster and develop localAmateur talent. 3. To inspire punctuality in the matches and to arrange an Annual Competition amongst itsMembers. 4. To control Professionalism. The League has in its possession five silver trophies, one for the Champions of the Senior League, 2nd XI League and 3rd XI League, the Holland Cup, for the Senior runners up and one for the 2nd XI runners up plus Flag for Senior League Champions and Flag for 2nd XI Champions and Photographs of the following cups Senior league,The Holland Cup, 2ndXI League and theWorsley Cup. The League will present 12 mementoes to the champions of the Senior, 2nd XI and 3rdXI Leagues plus the runners-up in both the Senior and 2ndXI Leagues. The League will present a memento to any amateur batsmen who scores 1000 runs or over, or any amateur bowler who takes 100 wickets or over in the Senior League (League Matches only) in any one season and a similar memento to the bowler who while playing as an amateur, succeeds in taking a total of not less than 1000 wickets in the Senior League (League Matches only) during his association with the League.
