46 previous year with their Dates of Birth and to be handed to the Umpires at least 15minutes before the commencement of the game. 3.2. A game shall consist of 100 overs. Each side shall be entitled to receive a maximumof 50 overs.Adeclaration shall not be permitted. 3.2.1. One bowler shall be allowed to bowl a maximum of 17 overs. All other bowlers shall bowl a maximum of 14 overs. The number of overs shall not be reduced in rain affectedmatches. 3.3. When a game is delayed or interrupted by ground and/or weather conditions, overs shall be deducted as follows: i) If a start is delayed by weather conditions, one over shall be deducted fromeach side for every sevenminutes lost during the first innings. ii) In a game which starts on time but is interrupted by weather or injury to or ill-health of any player, umpire or scorer, one over shall be deducted from each side for every seven minutes lost time during the first innings. iii) In the second innings if weather or injury to or ill-health of any player, umpire or scorer, interrupts play, one over shall be deducted for every three and a half minutes lost time during that innings. iv) No over shall be deducted for time lost for any reason other than weather or injuries to players and/or officials. The second innings will be deemed to have commenced upon completion of the interval between innings. v) Aminimum of 20 full overs per team must be bowled to constitute a completed game unless a result has already been achieved. vi) If the delay prior to the start of the game is such that it is deemed by umpires that there will not be sufficient time for the Team batting second to receive its full complement of 20 overs, then the game shall not be commenced. If there is a delay or further delay occurring after the commencement of the game such that it is deemed that there is not sufficient time for the Team batting second to receive its full complement of 20 overs then the game shall be declared an uncompleted match. However either Captain shall have the right to continue with the match on the basis that (a) their opponent's total can be passed within the overs to be received or (b) their opponents can be totally dismissed within the number of overs to be bowled. Thus it is possible for a definite result to be achieved in a match where the side batting last becomes entitled to receive less than 20 overs vii) If a start is delayed by weather a match shall not commence after 4.30pm. The reason being that the time allowed will not permit the minimum20 overs to be bowled. It will be declared a “no result”. viii) During a match: ground, weather and/or light conditions, injury/illness to players/officials, may cause the deduction of overs from either/both innings. All calculations for the deduction of overs are based on “Time Lost”. For the purpose of this rule, all references to “Time Lost” are to be calculated as follows. “Time Lost” will be the number of minutes counted from the start of any interruption or delay,
