The Umpires shall be responsible for measuring and the Scorers for recording any time lost before or during the game caused by weather and/or ground conditions, drinks breaks, injury to or ill health of any player, umpire or scorer or any other cause for the purpose of calculating the number of overs to be deducted from the game or the average number of overs bowled per hour by each team and for that purpose the Umpires and scorers shall synchronise their watches prior to the commencement of the game. After each stoppage the Umpires will instruct the scorers in respect of any time lost and any overs to be deducted from the game and the scorers will record that information in the score book and the results sheet and cause it to be displayed on the score board. per hour.
