Ryan Harris (144) & Jonathon Finch (123) created a new Lancashire League 1st wicket partnership of 257 on 29thApril 2007. During the 2011 season Lowerhouse became the first team to win all 13 home games. In 2011&2012 no side scored 200 or more runs against Lowerhouse 1st XI. Chris Bleazard scored his 100th Lancashire League half century for Lowerhouse against Burnley at Lowerhouse on June 4th. On 4thAugust 2013 Chris Bleazard became only the 3rd batsman of all time to pass the 15000 run barrier whilst scoring a century against Enfield. JoeMartin set a record 42 victims (39ct 3st) during the 2013 season. NELSON Nelson won their first 9 matches in season 1919 with Morfee, (pro) and A. Pollard bowling unchanged until the seventhmatch. Nelson dismissed Church in a League match on May 3rd 1924 for 9 runs. In season 1928, Nelson 1st and 2nd teams both lost their first match, (versus Bacup) and then never lost another match and the Club established a record by winning the Senior and Junior League Championships and the Worsley Cup in the same season. Nelson is the only Club to have won the Championship in four successive seasons, 1934-5-6-7. Learie Constantine scored 192 not out in 118 minutes against East Lancs on 2ndAugust 1937. In a Worsley Cup game June 6th, 7th and 8th 1939, Nelson scored 441 runs
