72 together with a reduced interval of 10 minutes to be completed by 9pm. Once that is no longer possible the match must either be abandoned or the overs reduced in accordance with Rule 16. 18. NoDeclarations. The Captain of the batting side may not declare his innings closed at any time during the course of amatch. 19 The Result 19.1 When there is no interruption after play has commenced and when both sides have had the opportunity of batting for the same agreed number of overs, the team scoring the higher number of runs (including any penalty runs imposed under Rule 16.3) shall be the winner. In the event of the scores being tied, the following shall apply: 19.1.2 In a Group Stage match, no account shall be taken of wickets lost, thematch is tied and each team shall be awarded one point. 19.1.3 In a semi-final or final, the team losing the lesser number of wickets shall be the winner. 19.1.4 In a semi-final or final, if the result cannot be decided by 19.1.3, the winner shall be the teamwith the higher score after 6 overs, or if still equal after 5 overs, or if still equal after 4 overs etc. 19.2.1 If weather delays or interrupts the match resulting in the team batting second being unable to receive the same number of overs as the team batting first then, unless the team batting second has achieved the required winning total, the result will be determined by a straight forward “runs per over” (including penalty runs imposed under Rule 16.3) run-rate calculation providing a minimum of 5 completed overs has been received (or is deemed to have been received by the imposition of penalty runs under Rule 16.3) by the team batting second. For the purposes of this calculation any team dismissed within its total number of allocated overs will be deemed to have received its full complement of allocated overs. (as in Rule 4). 19.2.2 In a Group Stagematch, if the runs per over are equal, thematch is tied and each team shall be awarded one point. 19.2.3 In a semi-final or final, if the result cannot be decided by 19.2.5, the winner shall be the teamwith the higher score after 6 overs, or if still equal after 5 overs, or if still equal after 4 overs etc. 20. No Ball Penalty 20.1 The penalty for a no ball will be 2 runs. 20.2 Free Hit after a Foot Fault No Ball In addition to 21 above, the delivery following a no ball called for a foot fault shall be a free hit for whichever batsman is facing it. If the delivery for the free hit is not a legitimate delivery (any kind of no ball or a wide ball), then the next delivery will become a free hit for whichever
