ENFIELD - Dwaraka Ravi Teja (Sri Lanka) The club has signed 29 year old Indian, Dwaraka Ravi Teja for the forthcoming season. Ravi has IPL experience with Deccan Chargers and Hyderabad, and played with India A. Predominantly a batsman, Ravi also bowls leg spin. He has scored over 3,800 First-class runs at an average of over 40. HASLINGDEN - Nicholas Benton (South Australia) Haslingden have signed 25 year old South Australian Nicholas Benton as professional for the 2017 season. Nick is a right arm medium fast bowler and right hand bat. He made his debut for South Australia in the 2014/15 season and plays his Grade A cricket in Australia with the Port Adelaide Cricket Club. LOWERHOUSE - Ockert Erasmus (South Africa) The Lowerhouse professional for 2017 is South African, Ockert Erasmus. Ockert who will no doubt be well known to Lancashire League followers following 3 year spells at both East Lancs and more recently Accrington is a genuine all rounder batting right handed and bowling off spin. Ever consistent during his time in the league, with the bat Ockert has amassed 4635 Lancashire League runs at 43s with a best of 112* whilst his economical off spin has captured 372 wickets at 16.8 with a best of 8-21. NELSON - Devon Conway (South Africa) Nelson CC are delighted to have secured the services of Devon Conway as Professional for the 2017 season. Devon is a left hand top order batsmen who also bowls off spin. Currently representing the Highveld Lions in his native South Africa, Devon averages over 40 with the bat in first class matches. In five previous seasons as a professional in the UK Devon has scored over 4500 runs and taken over 90 wickets. We look forward to welcoming Devon to the club and wish him well for the season.
