19 intervened and the semi finals were actually played over three weekends. Darwen were drawn as hosts for the first ever Finals day on Bank Holiday Monday. Bacup were drawn against Clitheroe in the first semi final and batted first to set a total of 106 thanks mainly to 70 not out from stand in professional Daryn Smit. Opener Charlie Dewhurst made 35 and professional Fawad Alam then saw the job through with 53 not out to take his side to the final. In the second semi final hosts Darwen met Todmorden who batted first and made 137. Darwen then managed to achieve the target with 2 and a half overs left, Calvin Savage ending with 57 not out. Clitheroe won the toss for the final and asked Darwen to bat. Wicket keeper Jordan Clarke top scored with 35 and 27 by Mark Friend and 31 from brother Scott enabled a total of 132 from their 20 overs. In reply, Clitheroe lost Charlie Dewhurst and Tom Lord before Jack Dewhurst and Fawad Alam put together a partnership of 110 to see their side home with 3 overs to spare. The Ron Singleton Colne Trophy was contested by Burnley and Ramsbottom at Turf Moor and Ramsbottom elected to bat, Sub Professional Usman Tariq made 102 to help the visitors post a total of 210 for 8 from their 50 overs. Jon Fielding then added 4 for 19 to his 27 runs from the first innings to restrict Burnley to 149 not out with Chris Holt top scoring on 32 and Michael Kelly made 29. The League make awards to Under 23 players and Ben Pearson of Todmorden won the batting award with 490 runs and a top score of 86 not out and Cole Hayman the bowling award with 39 wickets. The Milton Lord Trophy goes to the U23 player of the season and Ben Pearson who scored 5 fifties and also took 10 catches and 3 stumpings took the award. The Lancashire Telegraph sponsor tankard awards which are greatly appreciated by the players. The Batting Tankard is awarded for the best individual innings in a match. This year’s batting tankard was award to Ben Heap of Lowerhouse for his175 against Great Harwood. The Bowling Tankard is presented to the bowler with the best Amateur Bowling performance in a match. Fergus Bailey of Enfield took the tankard for his 7 for 11 against Accrington. The Telegraph also make an award to the wicketkeeper with most victims
