103 In 2016 and at the age of 18 Dayyaan made his First- class debut for Western Province. He previously represented South Africa at U19 level and in first class cricket he averages over 30 with the bat whilst his 53 First-class wickets are at an average of 28. A genuine all rounder Dayyaan is an outstanding prospect and Church look forward to welcoming him to the Club. CLITHEROE - Surat Randiv (Sri Lanka) Clitheroe are delighted to welcome Suraj Randiv as our professional for the 2019 season. He is a former Sri Lankan international who has played in all three formats for his country. He has taken 660 first class wickets with his off spin and boasts a top score of 152 not out. Suraj was previously appointed as professional for Morecambe CC in 2015, where he was influential in them winning the league title. In total he took 92 wickets and scored 772 runs. COLNE - James Price (South Africa) James is a top order batsman originally from Port Elizabeth in South Africa. An aggressive right handed, James is also a nippy seam bowler and excellent athlete in the field. A former regular for Eastern Province First Class Team, James has acted as professional for both Milnrow and Farley CC prior to representing Colne during the 2018 season. Price scored in excess of 1,000 in league, cup and T20 fixtures. COMPTON - Shubham Sharma Crompton Cricket Club look forward to welcoming 25 year old Indian Shubham Sharma to the club for the 2019 season. Shubham is predominantly a right hand batsman who bowls off spin. It is Shubham’s first season in England however he has good first class statistics and we hope that he can be a real asset to the club and bring through some of the junior players during the season due to his knowledge and experience of the game. DARWEN - Marques Ackerman (South Africa) Marques Ackerman is a 23 year South African all-rounder. He is a high class top order left handed batsman who can bowl useful right arm off spin. Originally from Gauteng, he is now based in Durban playing for the Dolphins and Kwa- Natal. He toured England with South Africa U19’s in 2014. In his only previous UK stint as a Professional he joined Shaw CC in the Greater Manchester Cricket League, scoring 987 from 22 innings at an average of 65.80 and a highest score of 161. He also took 61 wickets at an average of 11.49 and a best of 6-27.
