104 EAST LANCASHIRE - Angelo Jayasinghe (Sri Lanka) East Lancs are delighted to announce Angelo Jayasinghe as Professional for the 2019 season. Angelo is a Sri Lankan top order batsman, who plays first-class cricket for Negombo Cricket Club. He made his professional debut in February 2013 for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club. Angelo has represented Sri Lanka at U19 Level, captaining the side throughout the 2011 quadrangular series in India, which led to his selection for the 2012 ICC U19 World Cup. More recently he has played for Sri Lanka Emerging Team and also represented Sri Lanka A in 2015. In first-class cricket, Angelo has scored over 2000 runs including 3 centuries and 13 fifties and he is also a very adept leg spinner. He is now an accomplished top order stroke maker who was recently made Captain of the 3-day side. Everyone at East Lancs is delighted to have Angelo on board for 2019 and wish him well for the coming season. ENFIELD - Pallegedara Gammahelage Chandima Shashrika Peiris Pussegolla (Sri Lanka) Enfield are delighted to have retained the services of our 2018 professional for the upcoming season. Our second ever Sri-Lankan professional put pen to paper at the close of the 2018 season in which he scored 641 runs at an average of 33.73 and took 38 wickets at an average of 19.52 with a best of 5 for 26. Shash is 31 years old and hails from Colombo, an extremely popular figure in and around DHL he’s currently captaining Panadura in Sri Lankan 1st class cricket. Both he and his team mates will be looking to build further on last season’s stats and secure promotion to Division 1 at the first time of asking. GREAT HARWOOD - Thikshila de Silva (Sri Lanka) Great Harwood have appointed Thikshila de Silva as professional for 2019. Thikshila, aged 25, will become our second Sri Lankan professional, and will follow in the footsteps of his fellow countryman and former team mate Ashen Silva in joining our club. Thikshila is a strongly built batting all-rounder who also bowls genuine fast medium. Currently representing Chilaw Marians in Sri Lanka, he has 1529 first class runs and 40 wickets to his name, and has represented Sri Lanka in three T20 internationals. HASLINGDEN - Ryan Burl (Zimbabwe) Ryan Burl (24) is a current Zimbabwean international left-handed batsman who is also a genuine leg-spin bowler. Ryan has excellent statistics at First Class and List A level where he has so far scored almost 2500 runs and taken 25 wickets. He has also played 18 matches across the three formats for Zimbabwe since his ODI debut in February 2017 to include 1 Test, 13 ODIs and 4 T20s with a top score of 120 along with 35 wickets during the 2018 campaign. The all-rounder has also impressed in UK league cricket for numerous clubs
