Sutcliffe 10 - 24 Todmorden v Accrington May 1st 1993 Ryan Hesketh 10 - 57 Lowerhouse v East Lancs June 15th 2003 Ian Cameron 10 - 22 Haslingden v Rishton INTERESTING ITEMS At theAnnual Meeting of the League, on February 28th, 1934, a pair of Silver Candlesticks, suitably inscribed, were presented by the President, on behalf of the League, to Mr. Eddie Paynter, to commemorate his brilliant performance with the M.C.C. 1932-33 touring team in the Test Match, England v. Australia. Mr Paynter learned his cricket with the Enfield club, with whom he played as an amateur in the League. In season 1939 five players with birth qualifications for Bacup C.C. were engaged by first-class counties, two with Lancashire, two with Worcestershire, and one with Northampton. Todmorden C.C. during Season 1949 had five players with birth qualifications for the Club playing in first-class County Cricket. D. Shackleton and H. Dawson with Hampshire. P.
