There were various individual awards presented such as the amateur with the highest score in a league match. This year it went to Mark Friend of Darwen who made 124 not out at Enfield on 9th July. For the first time in as long as I can remember we did not actually have a wicket keeper with 5 victims and so no award was made. In Division two the batting award for 788 runs, four centuries and two half centuries a top score of 119 an average of 39.4 went to Sam Holt of Church. The bowling award went a bowler who took 56 wickets at 9.12 each, 3 five wicket hauls and a best of 6 for 41, Mo Bhada of Church. For the second year in a row, Sam Tucker of Church had most wicketkeeping victims in division two with 42 victims, 24 catches and 18 stumpings. The Premier League batting award went to Ben Heap of Lowerhouse who made 749 runs, a top score of 99, six fifties and an average of 37.45. Ashar Zaidi of Norden took most wickets with 46, a best of 6 for 12 and an average of 11.17. The top wicket keeper in the Premier Division was Matt Hernon of Littleborough who had 26 victims 20 catches and 6 stumpings. The League makes awards to the best performing U23 players for most runs, most wickets and best overall player. In Divison Two, the batting under 23 award went to Keelan Shipley of Middleton with 650 runs. Bowling U23 in Division Two with 38 wickets, went to Callum Hunter of Greenmount. The Premier batting award went to Zac Perren of Littleborough with 443 runs. And the Premier Division U23 bowling award, with 25 wickets went to Charlie Atkinson of Todmorden. And after considering all performances with 660 runs and 17 wicket keeping dismissals it was decided that the Under 23 player of the year award, the Milton Lord Trophy would go to Keelan Shipley of Middleton.
