Where an innings is interrupted, and overs are lost, the number of overs permitted to be bowled by an individual bowler will reduce as the available overs for that innings reduce. A part over bowled by a bowler will be considered as a full over in respect of that particular bowler’s allocation. (b) Subject to 8a only one player not in the Under 18 age group who has played more than two 1st XI games during the current season shall be eligible to play for a 3rd XI. Any such player shall not bowl or keep wicket and must bat at number 11 or at last in the event that injury prevents some other batter from batting. This is to enable junior members to play 3rd XI cricket even though they may have been selected for more than two first team games.
