All calculations for the deduction of overs are based on“Time Lost”. For the purpose of this rule, all references to “Time Lost”are to be calculated as follows. “Time Lost” will be the number of minutes counted from the start of any interruption or delay, to the time agreed by the Umpires for play to start or re-start. This means that if play should start /re-start earlier or later than the designated time decided by the Umpires, the original calculation will remain unchanged. 3.4. In a game delayed or interrupted by ground and / or weather conditions providing time allows the side batting second to receive 20 or more overs (it being acknowledged that the Team may not need to receive the said number of overs to pass the first innings score and thereby win the match) the target score to be achieved by the side batting second shall be calculated on the Duckworth Lewis Stern method. The DLS par score shall be displayed on or near to the scoreboard throughout the second innings, in all matches. 3.5. Any over not completed either through injury to the bowler or any other reason shall be completed by another bowler. Subject to the following numerical restrictions.
