The Umpire in Church v Bacup reported the former Club for being 20 minutes late at Bacup on July 1st. Resolved that Church be fined according to Rule. Resolved that best thanks of League be given to Mr. Knowles of Colne for walking to Bacup on July 1st in order to fulfil duty as Umpire. Resolved that umpires be requested to compare watches at commencement of games. The notice given by the Ramsbottom club at last meeting was considered. Resolved that the matter stand as at present. Resolved that this League sanction benefit match to be given by Nelson to S. Driver.
