Special Committee Meeting at Accrington July 25th 1893 All Present Resolved that a tie count 1 point With regard to protest Accrington 2nd v Rawtenstall 2nd Mr. Hamer promised to write to M.C.C. as to point whether No Ball or Dead Ball. The meeting next considered Enfield v Rishton result. The Captains and Scorers attended and after a lengthy discussion it was resolved that match be replayed on Enfield ground on or before 15 Aug and Umpires be allowed 5/- for attending meeting. Resolved that after paying printing and Umpires the receipts of the above match be divided 1/3 to Enfield 1/3 to Rishton 1/3 to League. The protest of Haslingden 2nd v Rawtenstall 2nd on a/c Umpire's decisions was withdrawn on Rawtenstall promising to suspend Umpire in future matches. The deposit was returned.
