Special Committee Meeting, Commercial, Accrington, Wednesday, 16th August 1893, present Accrington, Bury, Rishton, Bacup, East Lancs., Enfield, Church, Haslingden, Ramsbottom, Rawtenstall, Lowerhouse and President, Treasurer and Sec. Resolved that in case any Club's "pro" having finished engagement according to period agreed upon, such club be allowed to play another pro other than a first class county man. Resolved that Saul Wade be not allowed to play for Church this season. Resolved that Bury Club be fined £5 for not complying with engagement Bury 2nd v Accrington 2nd at Accrington 12th August. Resolved that no League Club "pro" shall be engaged by any other League Club in the following season without the consent of his late club and the League Com. and three copies of this resolution be sent to each Sec.
