Lancashire League Minute Book 1890-1897 (with side-by-side transcriptions by Anne Cochrane)

Special Meeting at Commercial Hotel, Accrington Sep. 20th, all clubs present with exception of Bacup, Resolved that Mr. Hamer take the chair. Resolved that Senior League medal design stand as at present and the design submitted by Mr. Hamer, no. 3, for Junior League be accepted. The Haslingden club provided copy of telegram and medical Cert. re Harris when it was Resolved that correspondence be considered satisfactory re Harris not playing on 19 August. All clubs now constituting League (with the exception Bacup not represented ) signified intention of joining League next year. Resolved that the two retiring clubs, Haslingden and Church be re-elected.
