Meeting, Commercial, Accrington March 7/94 all clubs represented and Treasurer, Sec. Resolved that Mr. Hamer, Treasurer, be chairman. Mr.. Roberts (Bury) reported on interview with Mr. C. J. Nicholson, Passenger Superintendent, L & Y Railway re train services etc. on occasion of matches. Resolved that the Sec. and Mr. Roberts . draw up a letter to Co. and that each representative send any proposed alteration regarding their district to Sec. at once. Haslingden C.C. moved that any professional ceasing his engagement at any time in 1893 shall be eligible to play as an amateur 12 calendar months from that date vide Rule 17 This Resolution was defeated 9 votes against, 3 for. Each representative promised to send to Sec. Registered Players, Fixtures, Umpires by (2nd?) April.
