Resolved that challenge from Burton Breweries League to play a match against League be not accepted. The dispute between Church and Colne re dates the League decided for the club to mutually agree if possible. The matter of James Ingram's case of Rishton was re-considered and Messrs. Gardner and Ingram having given evidence it was moved by Rishton that Ingram be allowed to play for Rishton the result being 11 voting against the Resolution and 1 for. The Secretary was instructed to get admission cards for League representatives to respective grounds. The East Lancashire club having given permission the Nelson C.C. applied for the transfer of N.Walton. This was granted and permission was also given for Walton to play in Benefit match for Victoria Hospital Nelson v. Colne April 7th at Nelson.
