A Deputation from the Umpires having waited upon the League asking 7/6 for Sat and 10/- weekday it was Resolved that Resolution re Umpires' fee be re-affirmed viz. 7/6 per match weekday, Sats. The Deputation was notified of this Resolution and they agreed to same after discussion. The Haslingden representative, Mr. Haworth, having read letter re H. Butler's illness it was Resolved that Haslingden be allowed to engage another "pro" for remaining portion of season. Resolved that a playing member of any eleven be not allowed to umpire.
