Lancashire League Minute Book 1890-1897 (with side-by-side transcriptions by Anne Cochrane)

Resolved That Sec. of each club send a list of players to Sec. not later than 1st April. The matter of Cup was left in the hands of Messrs. Eastwood and Hamer. Resolved: That each Sec. forming League obtain sanction of their Committee for use of ground and pros for a match to benefit the funds of League. The next meeting was fixed for Accrington 4th April and the Sec was also instructed to convene Sub. Committee Meeting re Umpires at Accrington immediately all lists of fixtures are received from Clubs. The President next entertained the representatives at Dinner this being the first meeting of League for 1891. A very enjoyable evening was spent and a hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr. Sutcliffe.
