Committee meeting, Commercial Accrington, July 4/94, all clubs present, and President and Sec. Resolved that Minutes of previous meeting be confirmed. (Re Harris playing for Haslingden on and after August 14) Resolved that the Resolution refusing Mr. W. Harris be rescinded and that he be eligible to play as an amateur after August 14th 1894 being the qualification under Rule 17 of 1893 Rules. Bury 2nd having been reported for late start at Bury on May 26th the Capt. of Bury 2nd attended and gave an explanation which was considered satisfactory. Resolved that Sec. write to Mr. D. Haslam of East Lancashire CC re abusive language to Umpires on June 23rd at Burnley and to caution him for the future.
