(Mr. R.S. Bayley and Accrington C.C.) Mr. R.S. Bayley attended, (after having been given permission) to explain how and why he played for Accrington. Witnesses also attended from Mr. Bayley's firm. After considerable discussion it was Resolved that three Representatives of League visit Manchester to get further evidence. Resolved that Ramsbottom, Accrington and President attend at Manchester on Friday next 6th July re Mr. Bayley and date apartments were taken in Accrington. Mr. Roberts of Bury gave notice for next meeting Mr. Bradley, Church, gave notice for next meeting "that this Committee bind themselves at the Annual Meeting in January next, they will rescind the Resolution as to playing one Professional only in matches in 1895 and that Rule 19 remain in force."
