Sub-Committee Meeting re Umpires at Commercial Hotel, Accrington 7th March 1891. Present: Accrington, E. Lancashire, Ramsbottom, Bacup, Nelson and Mr. Brown Sec. Mr. Bolton (Accrington) in the chair. Resolved That clubs mutually agree from a printed list of Umpires and in case not able to do so, the home club give 4 days notice to League Sec and he be empowered to arrange It was decided that all Secs should state names of Umpires when forwarding results League matches to Sec. Resolved that the next meeting fixed for Accrington on April 4th, be held at Bay Horse Blackburn, 6 o'clock.
