Special Committee Meeting Held at Commercial, Accrington March 17th 1896 Representatives present. President in the Chair, Bacup, Rishton, Ramsbottom, Colne Nelson Lowerhouse, Accrington, East Lancashire, Enfield, Church and Burnley. Mr. Sutcliffe reported the verbal resignation of the secretary Mr. Wm. Brown. It was resolved that President be empowered to call a General Meeting on March 25th 1896 and that representatives bring with them a list of their Club fixtures for the ensuing year also a full list of Players, Professionals and Umpires for registration.
