Annual General Meeting of the members of the League held at the Commercial Hotel, Accrington, on Wednesday the 25th March, 1896 Present: Mr. W. Sutcliffe, President, in the Chair, Mr. W. Hamer, Hon. Treas. and the Representatives from all the clubs, viz. Bacup, Accrington, Church, Burnley, Colne, East Lancashire, Enfield, Haslingden, Lowerhouse, Nelson, Ramsbottom, Rawtenstall and Rishton. The Minutes of the Meetings held on 13th & 27th November 1895 and of the meetings held on 17th March 1896 were read and confirmed. Moved by Mr. Hamer, (Blackburn), seconded by Mr. Whitaker (Accrington), and Resolved that the resignation of the Secretary Mr. Wm. Brown, be accepted. Moved by Mr. Hartley (Colne) and seconded by Mr. Hamer (E.L.) and Resolved that Mr. J. Sutcliffe be President of the League for the ensuing year. Moved by Mr. Sutcliffe, seconded by Mr. Nutter (Nelson) and Resolved that Mr. W. Hamer be Honorary
