Resolved that Minutes of Meeting held 1st July 1896 be confirmed. Resolved that the Match East Lancashire v Church played at East Lancashire on the 25th July 1896 (and in course of which match Worsley the last man to bat on the Church side was injured and left the field ) counted as a win for Eat Lancashire in the Championship.
