League Meeting Commercial Hotel Accrington 2nd Sept 1896 Present The President in the Chair, Representatives from Ramsbottom, Bacup, Rishton, Enfield, Haslingden, Lowerhouse, Colne, Nelson, Burnley, East Lancashire, Accrington and Church. The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 5th August 1896 were read and confirmed. Resolved that Mr. J. Eastwood of Blackburn be elected Hon. Treasurer of the League in the place of Mr. W. Hamer, who had resigned by letter dated the 2nd inst. Nelson were reported as the winners of the Cup & Medals. Resolved that a new design for Gold Medal be obtained and that the choice thereof be left to Mr. James Nutter, Secretary. Resolved that Messrs. W. Barlow, H. Hartley, Nutter, Dixon, the President, & Secretary form
