(Bacup claim a tie. Bacup v Rawtenstall June 6th) That the Umpires' decision in this match be upheld and the match be a win for Rawtenstall (In case no play, no point.) Resolved that no points be allowed in games not commenced ( Re run claimed by Bacup in match 6th June ) Resolved that in the opinion of the League the run claimed by the Bacup club was a legitimate one but the decision of the Umpire must be upheld. (Rishton apply for R. Holden to be registered as amateur instead of professional) Resolved That the application be refused (Secs. to see that Umpires are sent when required) Resolved that the Sec communicate to each representative of clubs to send Umpires from their district when requested by Sec. Mr. Hamer reported it was likely a cup would be got for League and the meeting passed 8/6 expense for Umpire sent extra to Rawtenstall.
