Committee Meeting, Commercial Hotel, Accrington, Thursday 17th September 1891 Present Messrs. President, Treasurer, Sec., and Accrington, Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Bacup, East Lancashire, Enfield, Church, Haslingden, Ramsbottom, Rawtenstall, Lowerhouse, Rishton. Resolved that minutes of previous meeting be confirmed. (Colne protest re F Ward) Resolved that F. Ward not be considered an reputed County man. Resolved that no addition be made to the number of clubs forming the League for 1892. Resolved that this meeting take a vote by ballot as to whether 13 or 10 clubs constitute the League next year. Result of voting The voting "Yes" for reduction and "No" otherwise resulted ayes 5 and Noes 8.
