The Rules were next discussed Resolved that this League adopt the County system of reckoning points, viz. 1 point for a win, and deducting 1 point for each match lost. (Limit times of play next season) Resolved that all League matches commence at 2 and play be continued until 7 throughout the season. Resolved that monthly meeting of League be held next season Resolved that each Sec. ascertain from respective Committees whether 7/6 or 5/- should be paid as fee to umpires next season. Resolved that John Dixon a/c £1.14.9 for printing , Sec's salary £5.5.0 be paid Sec. was instructed to ask M.C.C. whether any points are allowed for tie or drawn game. Secs. to meet and arrange fixtures Wed. 23rd Sept. 1891 Several clubs were reported and as usual a caution was given that all rules will be strictly followed up next season.
