Lancashire League Minute Book 1890-1897 (with side-by-side transcriptions by Anne Cochrane)

Resolved that the Bury Club be invited 1st, Todmorden Club 2nd, Darwen 3rd Rochdale 4th and that same be informed all League fixtures must be played on Saturdays in preference to a non-League club fixture. Resolved that the amateur match be fixed for 18th August at Blackburn. Resolved that the Sec. write Haslingden C.C. the replayed match with Church must be take place on or before 17th and to refer said Club to Rule 13. The meeting next discussed probable cost of medals and it was decided to consider same at a meeting to be held at Blackburn on day of Amateurs match viz. Aug. 18th.
