53 (3) Except where alternative provisions are made within the rules of the League, all games shall be played within the MCC Laws of the Game. Laws 42.3, 42.5, 42.4, 42.9, 42.10, 42.13 and 42.14 will only apply in games where neutral umpires appointed by the League are present. 47. Fall of Wicket The incoming batsman shall meet the outgoing batsman and there shall be not more than 10 minutes interval between innings. 48. Bowling Attire No player shall be allowed to bowl unless in suitable cricketing costume. This rule will be strictly enforced. 49. Suitability of Play Unless neutral umpires are provided by the League, the Captains shall decide as to the suitability of the weather conditions being fit for play. If the captains are unable to agree, the then present state of the game shall continue. 50. Unsporting Behaviour All games should be played in accordance with the ECB Code of Conduct and Spirit of Cricket which is published in the League Handbook each year. 51. Disciplinary Sub-Committee (1) A Disciplinary Committee consisting of three members of the Management Committee shall consider all matters of misconduct. (2) Any club or player found guilty of misconduct shall be punished in accordance with guidelines issued by the Management Committee using the YCB Disciplinary Guidelines. (3) Any appeal against a decision made by the Disciplinary Committee shall be made in writing to the League Secretary within 7 days of the decision and shall be accompanied by an appeal fee. (4) Three different members of the Management Committee will hear the appeal and their decision shall be final. The appeal fee will be forfeit if the original decision is upheld. 52. Minimum number of Players A representative team shall consist of a minimum of eight players. 53. Result Reporting (1) The Home Club shall submit the result and a summary report to the Publicity Officer 11.00 pm on the day of the game by either of the following methods: a. Text or, b. Chat facility in the League Microsoft Teams application or, c. Play-Cricket. The report shall include the team scores and wickets, any outstanding individual performances, including the players’ name, with minimum criteria of batting performances of more than 30 runs and bowling performances of 3 wickets or more. Where using Play-Cricket, then the relevant individual performances must be included in the “Highlights” section. (2) The Home Club must submit all details of games played, including the names of all players on both sides, together with details of scores and the minimum criteria set out by the Management Committee using the Play- Cricket system. This must be completed by 8.00 pm on the Sunday following a game. (3) Home Clubs are responsible for ensuring that none of its players are missing from their Play-Cricket site and as such, “Unsure” for Home clubs are not acceptable. (4) Should the Home Club find that a player is not incorporated on to an Away Clubs Play-Cricket site, the Home Club shall input the player on the scorecard as “unsure” and enter the player(s) detail(s) in the “Highlights” section of the summary score sheet. (5) The Away side must then confirm the details submitted by the Home side using the Play-Cricket system by no later than 8.00 pm on Tuesday following the game, ensuring that the scorecard is complete in accordance with the minimum criteria set out by the Management Committee. They must ensure add any player(s) and amend the scorecard should the Home side have marked any of their players as “Unsure”, and confirm its completion. (6) Failure by either club to submit or confirm a result or to incorrectly submit a result in accordance with this rule shall result in a fine. (7) If any of the submission is missing or still incorrectly completed by 21 days following a game, then the offending club shall be deducted 2 points. An additional point will also be deducted for each subsequent 14 days that the criteria have not been met.
