9 CURRENT LEAGUE TROPHIES The Stones Challenge Cup One of the oldest trophies in local cricket - first played for in 1903 and awarded to the League winners since 1928. Originally a play-off between regional league winners but by the League Champions since 1976 when promotion introduced into the League The Gunstone Cup Orignally used for the win- ners of the League knock- out cup but since 1976 awarded to the winners of Division A when promotion introduced and the knock- out cup was stopped. The E A Lunn Cup In memory of Ernest Lunn who was League Secretary from 1961 until 1980 and a Committee member until 1988. Division C Winners Replaced the Sheffield Cricket Lovers Society Cup in the mid 2000’s Ron Birch Sporting Cup In memory of Ron Birch who was Secretary from 1980 to 2008 and President from 2009 to 2011. Awarded to club with highest sporting- marks Elsie Ratcliffe Trophy In memory of former Chairman’s wife - awarded to team with highest average score in the season
