b. Knock out section - will be excluded and their opposition progressed to the next round. c. Final – trophy and any winners prizes awarded to opposition. (ii) Postponement are in accordance with League rule 41 (2) – (7) 10. Match Officials (i) Where possible the League will provide a neutral umpire and League rules 42 (3) – (9) shall apply. (ii) Each club decide between them a scorer for the game who shall use one of the live scoring apps that linked to Play-Cricket. It is important that whoever scores for a club is competent in using the app. Any club who does not use the app for a game will be regarded as not fulfilling the fixture in accordance with rule 9. 11. Ball The League will provide one new white ball for each game. Where a ball is “lost” then a previously used white ball should be used. 12. Conditions of Play (i) All games shall be played in accordance with the 100 rules as set out by the ECB and amended on an occasional basis. Any changes to the rules that apply specifically for this competition shall be advised to the clubs before the start of the season. (ii) Where possible games should be played on grass wickets (iii) Toss will be decide who bats first. The toss shall take place before the commencement of the game and the team winning the toss can choose to bat or field first. (iv) All games shall commence by no later than 6.00 pm. (v) Where a game is late in commencing, the offending team will lose a set of 5 balls (1 over) for every five minutes late. (vi) If the game is late starting due to inclement weather, then each side shall deduct one set of 5 balls (1 over) for every 10 minutes delay. In cases of inclement weather a minimum of 50 balls (5 overs) per side must be bowled for a game to be classed as completed. 13. Kits All players must compete in their clubs kits, the specification which shall be provided to each club before the commencement of the season. Where clubs have opted, the League will provide 11 sets of kit for each club. If clubs choose to provide their own kits, the specifications must match those provided by the League. Any clubs who fail to play in specified kits shall be adjudged to have defaulted on the game in accordance with competition rule 9. 14. Sight screens Sight screens are not compulsory in the Divison. However, where provided black sheeting should cover them to prevent any clashes with the white ball. 15. Unsporting Behaviour All games must be played in accordance with ECB Code of Conduct and Spirit of 23
