17 Proposals for League Amalgamation put to EGM on 29 April 2003 ! The new body will be called “The Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union”. ! Premier Division will not be affected by the amalgamation for season 2004. ! Division 1 of the new structure will comprise the teams finishing in the top 4 places in the Union Division 1 & the teams finishing in the top 6 places in the Perthshire League in season 2003 provided there is no promotion to or relegation from the SNCL. ! Division 2 of the new structure will comprise the teams finishing in the bottom 3 places in the Union Division 1 & the teams finishing in the bottom 5 places in the Perthshire League in season 2003. ! Division 2 of the Union will not be affected by the amalgamation for season 2004 but will be renamed. (either as Division 3 or the Sunday League?) ! Start Time - Play will begin at 1.30 pm in the new Divisions 1 and 2 but could be earlier if teams agreed. ! Ball - In the first few seasons of the new structure the ball to be used can be either a Dukes or a Readers, so that current stocks can be used up. Strathmore: Ground, Lochside Park.
