11 CONDITIONS OF PLAY PREMIER DIVISION DURATION OF MATCH - Each match shall be on the basis of 90 overs unless completed earlier. Each teamwill bat for a maximum of 45 overs. Any match which is uncompleted shall be null and void. The side batting first may declare its innings at any time but the side batting second will not receive the unused balance of their overs. START OF PLAY - All matches shall be scheduled to commence at 1pm and shall be completed on the day of commencement. If play is not possible by 3.00pm due to incelement weather, the match will not take place. Where play starts before 2.00pm, the match shall be the full 90 overs duration. Where play starts between 2.01pm and 2.30pm, the match shall be reduced to 80 overs with bowlers limited to 9 overs each. If play begins between 2.31pm and 3.00pm, the match will be reduced to 70 overs and bowlers limited to 8 overs each. If play is not in progress due to inclement weather at 8.30pm, no further play shall take place in the match. FIELDING RESTRICTIONS 1. For the first 15 overs of an innings, amaximumof 2 fieldsmen, and thereafter 5, can be placed outside an area bounded by 2 semicircles centred on each middle stump (each with a radius of 30 yards) and joined by a parallel line on each side of the pitch. It is recommended that the area is marked by painted white dots 5 yards apart covered by circular white plastic or rubber discs 7 inches in diameter. 2. There shall be no more than 5 fieldsmen on the leg side at any time in an innings. POINTS - Points, known as 'Result Points' and Bonus Points, shall be awarded as follows: RESULT POINTS Win 25 Points Tie 5 Points
