Can I encourage all to show your appreciation to the sponsors by using their services whenever possible. This coming year will be the last of my stint as President and may I take this opportunity to thank the members of the Committee for their support and hard work during my spell as President. A structure of the size of the Union does not exist or indeed flourish without commitment and effort and your are very fortunate to be served by quality people in the key roles of Secretary and Treasurer. Post holders David Bridges and Richard Miller are worth their weight in gold to the Union and I make no apology for singling them out for praise in view of the amount and quality of the work they do. I know they have made my role easier and very much appreciate the contribution they make. I cannot confine my praise to just the committee when we have our statistician Iain Chisholm to thank for the sterling role he performs and will ask again that we all make his life a little easier by submitting all the necessary returns to him both timeously and accurately. Finally my congratulations to Kinross U/13 side on their Scottish Cup success last season , as I visit many clubs I am impressed by the number of youngsters involved in our local game and the talent many of them have with the Leagues being well represented at all age groups in District and National squads . The Union is looking healthy in terms of the development of these Juniors and it augers well for all clubs who invest in Youth and I wish them well for the future Yours in Sport Bob McFarlane President
