10 (c) Clubs may help in obtaining part-time or full-time employment for an overseas amateur within the local community. Work directly relating to the cricket club or paid by the cricket club shall not be permitted. 7. Clubs may apply to the league to register more than one overseas amateur but this will only be granted in exceptional circumstances relating to work and study. A minimum of 120 days residence in Scotland prior to application will be required. 8. Any overseas player who qualifies as a local player under Rule 12.1(b) will be deemed once again to be an overseas player unless he remains resident within the EEA for at least 10 calendar months during the period of one year ending on the date fixed by the Committee as the date of the first Premier Division league match of the season. 9. Failure to comply with the above guidelines will result in disciplinary procedures as laid down in Rule 17. 12.2 A registeredprofessional or overseasamateurwhowouldnormally play in a higher division of the Union or in the SNCL or equivalent league, is NOT PERMITTED to play for a lower ranked team. 13. Detailed results of each match shall be communicated in writing by the home club to the Union Statistician, or his named deputy, not more than 14 days after thematch date. The home club is also responsible for telephoning the result to the Union within 48 hours of the completion of the match. Failure to properly report a match as detailed will result in the deduction of Five Points from the club’s league total. 14. In event of any dispute, protest or the like, the decision of the Committee shall be final. Protest must be communicated to the Secretary of the Union in writing and must be accompanied by a deposit of £20 (Twenty Pounds Sterling) which shall be retained according to the finding of the Committee. Protest relating to matches must be intimated in writing to the Secretary of the Union within seven days of the match. 15. Union fixtures shall be arranged each year for the top two divisions following publication of the SNCL fixtures. In divisions where the fixtures are not arranged by the Union, each team
