Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union Handbook 2011

18 STRANGE BUT TRUE The 2010 season saw two of the Union’s run-scoring records equalled. In the Premier Division, Peter Drummond scored 808 runs, at an average of 62.15, equalling Stuart McGregor ’s amateur record for the top division set back in 1968. Graham Ferguson matched this feat by scoring 717 runs at 65.18 In the Second Division, equalling the mark set by Colin Nicol in 2003. The odds against this double coincidence must be astronomical.
