46 j) The umpires will be responsible for making sure only the nominated bowlers actually bowl. k) Only the 5 nominated bowlers and the wicket keeper shall be allowed on the field of play. All other players not involved in the bowl out shall be beyond the boundary. 5 The inningsofeachsideshallconsistof20oversandnobowlershallbowlmore than 4 overs. Designated Union balls must be used. 6 Bowler’s run-ups shall not exceed 15 yards. A white line must be marked on theground15yardsbehindthebowlingcrease. Intheeventofan infringement, the bowlers-end umpire shall call and signal “NO BALL”. 7 In both competitions, at the instant of delivery a minimum of 4 fieldsman (plus the bowler and wicket-keeper) must be within an area bounded by two semi- circles of radius 30 yards, centred on each middle stump and joined by a parallel line on each side of the pitch. In the event of an infringement, the striker’s end umpire shall call and signal “NO BALL”. It is recommended that the area be marked by painted white dots, 5 yards apart, covered by circular white plastic or rubber discs 7 inches in diameter. 8 Except the registered professional, any player who has appeared for an SNCL side inmore than 50%of that club's leaguematches already played during the current season shall be ineligible to play in the mpower Cup. 9 Any player who has appeared in more than one SNCL match or in more than 50% of the league matches already played of a team participating in the mpower Cup during the current season shall be ineligible to play in the mpower Trophy. 10 All players in Cup Competitions must be bona-fide members of that club and representing that club within the Strathmore Union. 11 Under exceptional circumstances, a player inelligible under notes 8, 9 and 10 above may be given dispensation for a particular match on appeal to the Cup Sub-Committee or with the agreement of both captains. 12 If, at the completion of the match, the scores are tied, the winner shall be the sidewhich has lost fewer wickets. If this does not produce awinner, the scores at the end of each preceding even-numbered over (starting at 18) shall be compared until a winner be found.
