227 PETER M DRUMMOND LTD https://www.petermdrummondltd.co.uk/ When Bert McIntosh’s sponsorship of the Six-a-Side tournament ended, the mantle was initially taken up by Meigle stalwart and patriarch of the cricketing dynasty, Peter M Drummond whose eponymous Plumbing, Heating and Home Maintenance business continues to flourish to this day. After the 1988 season, it became the responsibility of the host club to find a local sponsor for the tournament and Peter (or auld Pete as he was to become when first his son and then his grandson, both also Peters, became established as cricketers in their own right) took on the funding of the event on two occasions.
