Danish Cricket Yearbook 2018

Last game versus Kenya saw Denmark win their only game of the tour. Kenya batted and got 216 all out with again another outstanding bowling and at times fielding display. Jonas Henriksen and Saif Ahmad were the main wicket takers with Saif Ahmad getting 4 wickets and Jo- nas Henriksen 3. The Danes knocked off the total with the loss of one wicket, Monty Singh. Freddie Klokker and Hamid Shah batted outstandingly well. Hamid Shah get- ting his maiden hundred for Denmark 105 not out and Freddie Klokker 80 not out showed fantastic discipline and skill against a very good Kenyan bowling side. A fantastic end to a tough tour. Although results didn’t go Denmark’s way, it was an awesome learning experience against high quality sides. The Danish side has all the po- tential to match these teams if they can get more game time. Denmark showed in every game they could compete but for not enough sustained periods. That will only come with more competitive matches.
