The Deputy Librarian-Research of the MCC (Melbourne Cricket Club) got out their set of beautifully bound back numbers, which are displayed along with more great books than I could dream about. I had to tear myself away to watch the Sheffield Shield match outside. I had taken a message from Phillip Hodson President of ‘our’ MCC to Paul Sheahan President of ‘the other’ MCC, who was in Hawaii, but wrote hoping to meet in 2013.
