93 COLNE -AliAzmat (Pakistan) Ali is classy left handed top order batsman, who has a 1st class average of 40 with 7 centuries, 12 fifties and a high score of 130. Azmat is a pivotal member of the WAPDA side across all 3 formats of the game and has enjoyed consistent success in domestic cricket in Pakistan.Although primarily a batsmanAli also is a very accomplished left arm spinner with 60 wickets at 1st class and one day level at a very respectable average. For 7 seasons Azmat played at Earby C.C. in the Ribblesdale League. During this period he scored over 8,000 runs at an average of 55 and took almost 400wickets at an average of 19 each. He currently holds the Ribblesdale League Batting record with 1655 league runs (1738 overall) in a single season this incredible feat was achieved in just 21 innings at an average of 127.31. In 2013 Ali played for Tonge C.C. in the Bolton League and amassed 900 runs at an average over 43 and took 25 wickets despite bowling less than 100 overs!! Ali has his ECB Level 2 coaching Award and is a keen and experienced coach too. EAST LANCASHIRE -MatthewKleinveldt (SouthAfrica) Matthew is a 24 years-old all-rounder, a left-handed opening batsman and off- break bowler. He was born in Southampton and completed his schooling in England. He played 2nd XI county cricket, including two seasons for Hampshire who offered him a contract but he had to decline due to visa complications.At the age of 18 he decided to join his cousin Rory in South Africa and quickly won a contract with Western Province. He has since featured regularly for the team and at the time of writing had played 45 first-class matches for them, scoring 2338 runs at an average of 32.47, with a highest score of 170. He has also claimed 25 first-class wickets. He has featured in 19 50-overs games and 11T20s. ENFIELD -WernerCostee (SouthAfrica) Werner Coetsee will return to Enfield this year for his third season. Missing in 2013 Coetsee hopes to boost Enfield's chances of some silverware. The right handed batsman has this year represented Bloemfontein, Chevrolet Knights at domestic level with an average of over 30. Born in the town of Bethlehem the star is best known for his off spinning ability. At 31 years of age the SouthAfrican is no stranger to the North West of England. He first played back in 2007 for Morecambe and at Middleton the following season. He has also acted as sub professional for Accrington, Ramsbottom, Todmorden andNelson. HASLINGDEN - Brenton Parchment (West Indies) Jamaican born Brenton Parchment is an experienced League performer and returns for his second season at Haslingden Cricket Club. Brenton is a right- handed opening batsman who can adapt his game to suit the situation from a slow patient innings to devastating stroke play. When he on-song there is no finer sight in League Cricket that Brenton in full flow. He is also a useful right arm bowler. He can bowl mediumpace or, if the conditions suit, off spin.
