PRO’S The professional and captain of the host club Burnley, Ocki has set a unique record this season when he scored his 10,000th Lancashire League run and then took his 700th Lancashire League wicket in the same match. He’s the first player to achieve this feat since West Indian Roger Harper. In T20 terms Ocki has the most runs (1992), most wickets (103) and most appearances (77 consecutively) by a professional in a career that spans four clubs and fifteen seasons. Since his competition debut for East Lancs in 2011 he has never missed a T20 match for his club. His 13 wickets in this season’s competition is the most by a professional. The most internationally experienced overseas professional on show at Finals Day, former New Zealand Test opener Jeet Raval has played a key role in guiding Haslingden to their first T20 Finals Day since the club won the Inter League Finals Day at Burnley in 2005. The accomplished left-handed batter has scored 217 runs in this season’s competition, including half-centuries against Bacup and Rochdale, while striking at an impressive rate of 159.5. Raval’s leg-spin has been used sparingly in the T20 competition, yielding two wickets, but it is his composure, experience and quality at the top of the order that make him one of the competition’s key players.
