Two clubs will emerge from this afternoon’s semi-finals with one opportunity remaining to write their names into Lancashire League history. Burnley will look to make home advantage count and claim a fourth T20 title, while Ramsbottom are chasing a record-extending fifth crown. Haslingden are aiming to lift the trophy for the first time since winning the inaugural competition in 2005, and Enfield hope to become champions again for the first time since 2007. Four-time champions Ramsbottom have once again demonstrated why they are perennial contenders. Their formidable top order of JJ and Brad Fielding, Ben Pearson and professional Chirag Khurana has dominated attacks throughout the competition, accounting for the vast majority of the club’s runs. JJ Fielding has also excelled with the ball, leading the side with 11 wickets to underline his all-round influence. Enfield’s route to Finals Day came through one of the competition’s closest groups before overcoming Great Harwood in the quarter-finals. Captain Adam Bracewell has again been the standout batter with 255 runs, while professional Kadeem Alleyne and Warwickshire all-rounder Keith Barker add quality and experience. Rather than relying on one individual, Enfield’s bowling success has come from contributions across the entire attack. The clubs have met four times in T20 cricket, with the rivalry perfectly balanced at two victories each, ensuring another fascinating contest.
